Back in 2012 during SXSW in Austin, I was very lucky enough not only to see Bruce Springsteen's keynote but to see him peform live in the intimate Moody Theater. I can now see why 'The Boss' has so many loyal fans. So it doesn't surprise me to hear a documentary about Springsteen will be coming to theaters in July. However, this is not your typical film. The documentary was film entirely by his fans.
The film is called Springsteen & I celebrate 40 years of Springsteen and his music. Produced by Ridley Scott Associates and directed by Baillie Walsh, the film takes a very intimate look at the relationship between the artist and his fans. Film is completely supported by Springteen and his management and will hit theater on July 22. Watch the trailer below.
