Sound Travels was working around a theme today, our destination was Senegal. Senegal, West Africa's westernmost nation is home to some really dope music. From the afro-salsa vibes of Orchestra Baobab to the mbalax sound of Cheikh Lo and afropop of Youssou (or Vivianne) N'Dour, Senegalese music can be many things, and it's usually quite amazing. So today I wanted to get you on a summery vibe (while that lasts) and play some things you might not have ever heard.
