The Delta Routine is easily one of my favorite bands. Not "Milwaukee" bands, just "bands" in general. They slay, and frontman Nick Amadeus is one of the big reasons. I absolutely love their last studio album, Cigarettes and Caffeine Nightmares. Nick did us a solid and came in to play some songs stripped down (a challenge to find Delta Routine songs he HADN'T performed yet.) A nice surprise came in the form of the blues standard, "Bright Lights, Big City." You can check it out below, along with the entire audio version to your right (also including the birth of a brand new TDR song.)
The Delta Routine, playing tonight at YellowPhone Music Conference, in the Milwaukee Ale House.
