It has been some time since we heard new music from the DC duo Thievery Corporation. On April 1, Thievery Corporation will release Saudade (no fooling) on their label ESL Records. Saudade is the follow up to their 2011 release Culture of Fear. The album heads in a more laid back direction than the previous release. In a Wall Street Journal article, Thievery Corporation's Rob Garza explains that the album is all about their love of bossa nova music, jazz, and cinematic soundtracks.
Thievery Corporation shares the first track from the album entitled "Depth of My Soul" and it features vocalist Shana Halligan. You can check out the track over at The Wall Street Journal or below.
