Last week, while on a tour of the Bronzeville neighborhood we were introduced to a long time resident of the area, Mattie Blanks. Blanks has been in Bronzeville for 41 years and is proud to call it home. A retired cake decorator and Milwaukee bus driver, she now spends her time in her garden and working on beautifying her neighborhood.
