I didn't think it would happen. After a long hiatus, Chappelle returns to stand up, and will be performing two shows at The Pabst Theater on October 27. From his role in Half Baked to his hilarious stand-up routines and to his groundbreaking show on Comedy Central, Chappelle has become one of this country's most important comic.
Earlier this year, Chappelle celebrated the 10 anniversary of his concert film/documentary Block Party with a series of shows at Radio City Hall that included guest appearances from The Roots, Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier and Janelle Monae. Maybe, Chappelle will bring a guest or two. One can dream.
Tickets will go on sale for the two shows this Thursday (9/25). First show will be at 7:30pm. The second show will be at 9:30pm.
