In this week's episode of Urban Spelunking, OnMilwaukee.com's Bobby Tanzilo tells us about his visit to an allegedly haunted building -- the old Southview Isolatoin Hospital on S. 23rd and Mitchell Streets.
For decades, the hospital hosued patients suffereing from infectious disease. They were subjected to government mandated quarantine, forcibly removed from their families.
Today, as Tazilo writes, the clinic is a "cheery neighborhood clinic offering health advice, free immunizations and the like." But some staff members he met said they still see strange things in the basement of the building.
