If you're a hip hop fan, today at Summerfest is for you!!! Over at the Marcus Amphitheater, Kendrick Lamar and labelmate Schoolboy Q will take the stage. If you haven't listened to Kendrick's latest album "To Pimp A Butterfly," do so right now! Then head next door to the BMO Harris Pavilion at 9:45pm to check out Aloe Blacc. Aloe released my favorite album of 2006, "Shine Through." You should definitely check it out!!!
If hip hop isn't your thing (and why not?), check out our good friends Forgotten Species on the US Cellular Connection Stage at 5:30pm. They also are the guest DJs this week for 5 Songs We Can't Stop Listening To.
Then at 8pm, you have a choice to make: check out The Apache Relay at the Johnson Controls World Stage or Manchester Orchestra at the Miller Lite Oasis.
Old school rockers Local H will be at the KNE New Music Stage at 9pm. Then at 10pm, you can catch either The Delta Spirit on the Johnson Controls World Stage or The Faint over at the US Cellular Connection Stage.
So many choices, so little time.
