Today, we get our Shadow from a listener named Ashley who alerted me to Elle King's cover of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers "American Girl". You know Elle from her bawdy hit "Exes and Oh's". Elle doesn't stray from the original but with that unique voice of her's still manages to make it her own.
It's tough to mess with a clasic like "American Girl".
