During the month of November, you may find more dudes sporting mustaches than you're used to seeing.
Don't panic, it's (probably) temporary.
It's all part of a global movement called " Movember," a charity campaign supporting medical research for health issues affecting men.
Starting on the first of the month, men participating in the challenge will shave their mustaches, then spend the rest of the month growing them out. And because some men pull off the look better than others, organizers hope the awkward mustache will spark a conversation, helping teams recruit supporters.
The money rasied goes toward researching testicular, colorectal and prostate cancers, as well as promoting physical activity and positive mental health.
Local organizer Dave Thorpe leads the largest local team, made up of Direct Supply employees, and heads up the local chapter, Movember MKE.
