I've had the privilege of being on this earth for 45 years, 30 of these years spent behind DJ equipment that sincerely brings me the utmost joy. With the utmost confidence and respect to those who came before us, Fortune continues to be an integral part of the shaping of Milwaukee's underground dance music scene.
Many of you know her as a DJ and Promoter; some of you may not know more than that. It was really wonderful getting to know Jessica outside of just being a DJ. We dove into her origin story, the challenges she has faced along the way, the many successes and her activism. Fortune is set to do big things in 2021. She has been added to some really cool festival lineups and is the host of a podcast called, " inSight: Conversations that Matter with People who Inspire." She also gave me the low down on what is about to happen with aPart and so much more.
