Girls on the Run Celebratory Spring 5K

Girls on the Run Celebratory Spring 5K
Girls on the Run teams from across Southeastern Wisconsin, as well as any community members interested in participating, are invited to join us for our Spring 5K event. The run will begin in waves starting at 9 a.m. and take place on the roadways around American Family Field. Participants will gather with their school in the American Family Field lot near the start/finish line.
5K Buddies: We recommend that every girl have a 5K Buddy to accompany her on event day. A 5K Buddy is any trusted person 16+, who can run/walk/skip alongside their girl and cheer her on through this day of accomplishment. A 5K buddy can be a parent, grandparent, teacher, family, friend, favorite babysitter — anyone 16+ your girl knows and trusts! All 5K buddies need to register for the 5K.
General Registration: Our 5K is open to all! We invite all runners and walkers to join us for the 5K — family members, siblings and friends! All 5K Buddies, parents and friends participating in the 5K on the course must register. The registration fee is $30 for adult 5K Buddies/Community Runners and $15 for youth runners (13 years of age or younger). Financial assistance is available.
Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive after-school youth development program that uses fun running games and dynamic discussions to teach life skills to girls in 3rd through 8th grades. Girls prepare both physically and emotionally for the end-of-the season 5K event, giving them a tangible sense of accomplishment.
You can register for the event using the "Get Tickets" button below or by visiting the registration page here. For more information about the event or volunteer opportunities, visit the Girls on the Run website. All proceeds from the event benefit Girls on the Run to provide scholarships, healthy snacks and shoes to program participants.
