Halyard Park 50 Year Celebration and Statue Beechie Brooks Unveiling
The celebration will begin with the unveiling of a life-size bronze statue of Beechie Brooks near the fountain at Gaines Triangle at North 6th and North Halyard streets at 11:00 a.m. After the unveiling, self-guided tours of the Halyard Park neighborhood will be held, followed by a 50th anniversary celebration at ThriveOn King, 2153 N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
