Hanna Simone is a Milwaukee based singer/songwriter known for her rich voice and impactful lyricism. Hanna gravitates toward creating music with the purpose of embracing vulnerability. Paired with her smooth and soulful vocals, she writes with the knowledge and intention that all of us are equals, charting individual courses. She can be described as a Soul/RnB artist that aims to break down barriers and empower her listeners by writing about real life experiences.

Raised in Milwaukee, you’ll find no hints of the Wisconsin winters in A.C. the Ruler’s songwriting. A father passionate about the golden age of hip hop and the soul of R&B bred A.C. to not just love music, but to love when it has something to say. Always candid about his emotional side, A.C. doesn’t shy away from vulnerability but instead leans into it. The result is a soundtrack of elegant honesty where the observations of a Milwaukee-bred musician examine nostalgia, femininity, love, and hardship

With a smooth, jazzy voice, *aya writes about universal themes like self-reflection, love, loss, mental health, and personal growth, making her music both intimate and relatable. Inspired by the artistry of Jill Scott, Ari Lennox, Faye Webster, Amy Winehouse, and Outkast, she seamlessly weaves together genres to create a sound that's unmistakably her own.

Emmitt James

Emmitt James is a part-time barista and full-time artist at all other hours. The Jazz Rapper has spent some time in Los Angeles where we opened for legendary acts such as Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def), The Pharcyde, Hieroglyphics, to more contemporary acts like Cuco, Duckwrth, Joey Purp, Jay Prince, Old Man Saxon and more.

James also produces a fundraiser concert every summer in Milwaukee raising money and awareness for local organizations where we closes out the night with a 20-piece band. Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual Emmitt James Big Band BBQ happening Friday, August 21st.
