Hoancoming, Milwaukee's Fesh Coast Party

Hoancoming, Milwaukee's Fesh Coast Party
Hoancoming is a fundraising event that celebrates Milwaukee’s beautiful waterways and the iconic Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge. The Hoan, as it’s affectionally called, is a symbol of pride and unity for the city of Milwaukee and a giant welcome sign for visitors near and far.
Hoancoming is a unique, on-water fundraiser supporting the non-profit organization, Light the Hoan. Proceeds from this event support year-round programming and community outreach initiatives, as well as funding for lights to illuminate the east side of the bridge.
This year’s fundraiser, which takes place on the Milwaukee River and surrounding Riverwalk, will feature a variety of events and entertainment, including the dynamic DJ Shawna. Guests will also enjoy a boat parade down the Milwaukee River, as well as a drone show and dazzling fireworks display synchronized to lights.
No boat? No problem. You can hop aboard one of two private cruises: DJ Shawna’s Good Vibes Cruise or the Retro 80’s Cruise ($99 per person). Private boats are also available for rent.
If you’re a land lover, the Riverwalk will be bustling with food, entertainment, art, and more. Check out the drone show and fireworks display from a special viewing area at Boone & Crocket starting at 8 p.m. And be sure to stick around for the free White Claw After Party hosted by Boone & Crocket.
