Experience the fourth season of InSite, a FREE immersive dance event at Havenwoods State Forest. Audiences will be guided along wooded trails where dance and environment merge, encountering performances inspired by the rhythms of the natural world. This site-specific program celebrates Milwaukee’s ecosystems and urban wilderness, featuring guest choreographers and a special collaboration with Ometochtli Mexican Folk Dance. Live music by Lorna Dune and Allen Russell.

Arrive early for a guided meditative walk, with somatic and sensory exercises designed to heighten awareness of the landscape. A pre-show talk by park rangers will share the fascinating history of Havenwoods—from penitentiary and internment camp to missile silo base to state forest within Milwaukee’s city limits.

Bring your curiosity and a good pair of walking shoes for this unique outdoor performance.
