Jazz at the Vine - Andrew Spadafora and the Fountain of Youth
Jazz at the Vine is a concert series presented by Humboldt Park Friends in collaboration with Milwaukee County Parks and Gary Hollander. This concert series is held at the beautiful Humboldt Park’s beer garden and is designed to engage the community, bring people together, and raise funds to support the park system. With your help, we can continue to host this exciting and vibrant event that showcases the best local jazz musicians while also supporting a vital community resource.
Andrew Spadafora is a dynamic Milwaukee saxophonist performing for diverse audiences throughout numerous genres of music. Known mostly as a touring sideman with acts such as Tweed Funk, the Sweet Sheiks, and The Dead Man’s Carnival, Andrew has a career that has spanned the Jazz and Blues circuits of both Europe and the United States.
Now fronting his own band, “The Fountain of Youth” features the immense musical talents of many up-and-coming musicians. Focused on modern interpretations of American Jazz music, this electric young band is sure to make you move your feet and lose your seat as the pulsing rhythms of Hard Bop and Soul Jazz liven any room.
