Over 550 martial artists of all ages will participate in the J.K. Lee Great Midwest Championship. It is the largest tournament of its kind in the Midwest. Local athletes ages 3—80s year old will be performing and competing against each other.

J K Lee Black Belt Academy has 7 locations in the greater Milwaukee area and started in 1976, for over 48 years we have been committed to teaching the physical skills of martial arts while applying attitude shaping exercises aimed at bringing out the best character and physical potential in each student.

“It is truly a spectacle to witness, with people of all ages. Kicking, performing choreographed routines and sparring,” said Master Chan Lee, whose J.K. Lee Black Belt Academy schools are hosting the event. “The high-level competitions in particular take a remarkable level of skill and athleticism.”

This event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Road, Brookfield, WI 53005, and is open to the public.

A popular highlight of the event, a special demonstration by Martial Arts Masters, will take place at 12:30 p.m.
