The public is invited to join Bay Shore members in serving the community through the following volunteer activities. Sign up in advance and walk-ins are also welcome.

• Assembly of 1,500 sandwiches to be distributed by Just One More Ministry to homeless individuals throughout the Milwaukee community.
• Assembly of personal care kits to be distributed to homeless individuals through the Street Angels, a mobile outreach program that assists our neighbors without homes in Milwaukee County.
• Sewing kits for Lutheran World Relief and baby care kits for Hephatha Lutheran Church.
• Handwriting letters of thanks and encouragement to veterans through Operation Gratitude which are sent to Deployed Troops, Recruit Graduates, Veterans, Wounded Heroes, and First Responders around the nation.
• Creating and distributing Valentine’s Day cards to individuals presently staying at the Ronald McDonald House which helps families to access the medical care and resources they need and to Meals on Wheels.
• Making toys for pets to donate to a local animal shelter.
• Collecting mittens and hats which will be donated to local Street Life, an outreach organization for Milwaukee’s homeless.
