Snow Leopard Sisters - Private Screening at SC Johnson

Snow Leopard Sisters - Private Screening at SC Johnson

Join SC Johnson for a private screening of the conservation documentary Snow Leopard Sisters. The film follows snow leopard conservationist Tshiring Lhamu Lama as she mentors 17-year-old Tenzin Bhuti Gurung. Together, they navigate the treacherous yet breathtaking Himalayan landscape in search of the last remaining endangered snow leopards. Through intimate footage and stunning cinematography, the film highlights the power of women’s voices in conservation, shaping a better future for themselves and the elusive snow leopards.

The documentary has inspired direct action to increase the population of endangered snow leopards and end retaliatory killings by local herders. It is accompanied by a robust impact plan that supports the protagonists in utilizing new non-harmful technologies to protect livestock while integrating the livelihoods of local communities with snow leopard conservation.

Those involved directly with the film will be at the Golden Rondelle after the private screening for an exclusive panel discussion, Q&A session and meet and greet.

Please note that the film is not suitable for young children.
