“The Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Mary L. Nohl Fund Fellowships for Individual Artists 2025”

The twenty-second annual Mary L. Nohl Fund Fellowships for Individual Artists competition has awarded unrestricted grants to five local artists selected by a national panel of jurors to support the creation and completion of their work. The Nohl Fellows are Sarah Ballard, Michelle Grabner, Margaret Griffin, Michael Newhall, and Open Kitchen (Rudy Medina and Alyx Christensen).

“After the Empire: American Prints from the Haggerty Collection”

“After the Empire” features a diverse range of works from 1862 to 2017 that utilize social and political commentary to explore American identity and spark public conversation through satire and historical witness.

“Defying Empire: Revolutionary Prints from Britain and America”

“Defying Empire” challenges traditional, nationalistic narratives of the American Revolution.
