Are you a high school student with a passion for theatre? Whether you’re a seasoned performer, a behind-the-scenes enthusiast, or simply someone who loves the art of theatre (like all of us here!), we have an exciting event just for you. It’s called “The Green Room and Beyond,” and it’s completely FREE.

At this event, you’ll have the chance to step into our world at UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. No matter your level of experience, you’ll fit right in as you experience what it’s like to be a student here. We offer majors in theatre performance (musical theatre or acting), theatre production, theatre education, and theatre practices.

During “The Green Room and Beyond,” we invite you to join our classes across all areas of study. You can choose to focus on performance or production for the day. You’ll also have ample opportunities to chat with our faculty members and get to know our current students.

In the evening, if you want the full theatrical experience, you’re welcome to stay and observe rehearsals for a variety of productions. Or we’d be thrilled to offer you a sneak peak at the first dress for “Company” in our Mainstage Theatre.

Parents/guardians are welcome to join us for the morning tour and the optional evening performance.
