Enjoy an intimate, dynamic tour of Saint Kate's SEED art collections over a glass of bubbly with Saint Kate's Curator in Residence, Shane McAdams. From there, Artist-in-Residence Julia Bradfish will introduce you to her studio, where you and your partner will engage in a fun "partner portrait" drawing activity.

Shane McAdams, Saint Kate's Art Curator will provide some background into the practice and psychology of observational drawing. You will warm up with a “blind contour” drawing to get the creative juices—and some laughter—simmering. Then, you'll select the media with which you will execute your artistic achievement: maybe your portrait will be loose and enigmatic, requiring soft pastels, or perhaps your person demands more objective and resolute media like a graphic pencil. It's up to you.!

From there, you will draw, and 20 minutes later present your partner with a gift they will never forget: a masterpiece with their face and your signature on it, with memories to last for years to come.

Please present your ticket to the bartender at the Bar to collect your glass of champagne, and meet near the large horse sculpture, Big Piney, for the start of the tour.

Guests under 21 are encouraged to join with one of the non-alcoholic mocktail options at Saint Kate. 21+ can select from a list of options that include a glass of bubbly, or other house beverage.
