From September 2–October 31, 2025, the Greenfield Public Library will host an exhibit of over 20 original paintings by local artist and retired Milwaukee Public Library librarian John Suess.
Known for his colorful Wisconsin landscapes and vivid floral works, Suess draws inspiration from everyday beauty—from gardens to golf courses to scenic drives. His style blends impressionism, tonalism, and realism, and this collection includes several brand-new pieces making their debut.
The free show is open during regular library hours: Mon–Thu, 9 a.m.–8:30 p.m.; Fri, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; Sat, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.; Sun, 1–5 p.m.

His work blends impressionism, tonalism, and realism, creating pieces that capture both the richness and tranquility of nature. Several brand-new paintings will make their debut in this exhibit.

In Billionaires In Space, sketch comedy troupe The Accountants Of Homeland Security present a night of hysterical satirical sketches in which our nation’s oligarchs vacation off the planet Earth to escape the societal collapse caused by their greedy, selfish actions. This one-night-only multimedia show combining live comedy and pre-taped video segments takes place October 18th at The Interchange Theater Co-op.
Consisting of Tim Grimes, Matthew Filipowicz, Bob Rok and Zach Zajac, The Accountants Of Homeland Security is a group of Milwaukee- and Chicago-based comedians with a 25-plus year history of producing sharp, timely, critically acclaimed comedy. They are regular performers at Laughing Liberally Milwaukee, a monthly political comedy show produced and hosted by one of the Accountants, Milwaukee comedian Matthew Filipowicz.
Opening the night will be standup comedian and host of the Dead Eyed Millennial Film Club, Jason Hillman.
