If you went to or tried to go to or even just saw photos from Noah Kahan’s Summerfest show this past June, you know the “Stick Season” singer was bound for bigger venues. On Wednesday, that’s exactly what he got with a July 13 date at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy.

Kahan has to be in the conversation for “artist with the most successful Milwaukee visits in 2023” after filling the Miller High Life Theatre in February and then pushing Summerfest’s UScellular Connection Stage well beyond its limits June 24. Clearly, he’s got something good going in Wisconsin, which is why he added Alpine Valley to his “We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour” that starts in Vancouver on March 26.

After releasing a couple full-length albums — Busyhead and I Was / I Am — Kahan went nuclear in the summer of 2022 with the TikTok-fueled popularity of “Stick Season.” His album of the same name came out that September, and he proceeded to conquer North America with wildly successful live performances like the ones we saw here in Milwaukee. In June, he delivered “Dial Drunk,” a collaboration with Post Malone that reached No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100.

If you’re looking to be among the crowd at Alpine Valley this July — hopefully with a little more elbow room — you can register now for the ticket presale that gets underway at 10 a.m. next Wednesday, Sept. 27. The general sale happens the following day, also at 10 a.m.
