Last week, the new FPC Live venue next to Fiserv Forum got a name. This week, Landmark Credit Union Live got its first concerts:
- Feb. 27 — Rainbow Kitten Surprise w/Common People
- Feb. 28 — BossMan Dlow w/BabyChiefDoIt, Skrilla, VonOff1700, Raq baby, Certified Trapper, BloodHound Q50, MAF Teeski, SteveDaStoner, 414bigfrank, Luhh Dyl, Yonaa + DJay Mando and DJ Nic Stokes
- March 6 — Sabaton w/Pop Evil, Wings of Steel
- March 12 — LEVEL UP & ZINGARA
- March 13 — Mariah the Scientist
For the record, that’s alternative rock at the grand-opening show followed by rap, Swedish metal, EDM and R&B. If the people behind the new venue intended to make a statement with its first slate of concerts, it’s that the space will welcome anyone and everyone.
“We're curating a lineup that reflects the energy and culture of this city," FPC Live co-president Scott Leslie said in a release. "Landmark Credit Union Live represents our continued commitment to grow the live music scene in Milwaukee, making it a can’t-miss stop for artists on tour.”
The venue is still under construction, with plans for it to hit a capacity of 4,500 people upon its completion. Attendees will be able to choose from general admission standing room or reserved seats, along with premium options that include lounge access.
Tickets for all five of the initially announced shows will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. next Friday, Oct. 24.
