True Skool

This week on 414 Live, we were excited to welcome a very special Milwaukee organization for a student showcase. True Skool uses hip hop as a method of instruction for Milwaukee youth. Their Urban Arts Program is free as long as participants complete community service hours during each session and commit to attending 3 days per week.

Why do it? Why make it free? Like us, True Skool believes in the power of music. They believe that through music students can learn about culture, community and history. They believe that music brings people together.

On Thursday, their students celebrated the end of the Skool year and showcased what they've learned. These guys packed the house!
