The phrase 'slinky lead guitar' may as well have been invented to describe Nile Rodgers' work, first with disco pioneers Chic, which he co-founded with Bernard Edwards, to work with Sister Sledge, David Bowie, Madonna and Duran Duran to contemporary work with Pharrell WIlliams and Daft Punk. You can't go wrong with "Good Times" and the late 90's cover from Zhane plays it pretty straight.
