Grace Weber's homecoming follows her NFL national anthem

Grace Weber may live in Brooklyn now, but she still considers Milwaukee home. Her artist page on Facebook proudly claims her hometown to be "New York, NY & Milwaukee, WI."

Last weekend she represented her newer home by performing the national anthem at a New York Giants game.

She'll be back to her original home this Saturday night for a performance at the Skylight Music Theater.

Born and raised in Wauwatosa, Weber was recently named winner of The New Music Seminar's Unsigned Artist on the Verge Award for 2015. She's in good company. Previous honorees: Macklemore, Fitz & The Tantrums, BANKS, and Action Bronson.

As for this weekend's show at the Skylight: "We've decided to turn the typically operatic/theatrical venue into a rock and roll venue for one night," Weber says. "I think it's going to be a pretty special show."

She's been touring in support of her second album, "The Refinery," which was released last fall and has reached #5 on the iTunes’ singer-songwriter charts.

Weber performed live at Radio Milwaukee's studios last year. Watch the video below.
