Milwaukee’s concert scene has a lot going on, so we look at the shows coming up to find the ones you’ll look back on and be glad you went. Then we add them to our weekly Milwaukee Concert Picks.
The last Bay View Bash was three (LONG) years ago. Do you remember all the good times you had? Waving farewell to summer? Eating street food? Catching a never-ending, mostly local lineup that has always been on point?
If your memory’s fogged, break up the cloudiness this Saturday as the beloved neighborhood event makes a comeback with a stacked lineup across several stages. This thing is packed with Milwaukee-scene faves, which I’ve arranged in a helpful chronological order so you can make the most of your day:
- 2:15 p.m. — The LOL (Milwaukee Record Stage)
- 3:30 p.m. — Wave Chapelle (Rushmor Record Stage)
- 4:30 p.m. — Collections of Colonies of Bees (Rushmor Record Stage)
- 5 p.m. — NilexNile (WMSE Stage)
- 6 p.m. — Genesis Renji (Milwaukee Record Stage)
- 6:15 p.m. — Fox Face (WMSE Stage)
- 7:15 p.m. — B~Free (Milwaukee Record Stage)
- 8:30 p.m. — Vincent Van Great (Milwaukee Record Stage)
- 9:15 p.m. — CONVERT (Rushmor Record Stage)
A special shout to Juiceboxxx — now living in Los Angeles and going by the name RUSTBELT — who will make his hometown return for a special one-time performance, complete with a Milwaukee-based band to back him up. That’s at 7:30 p.m. at the WMSE Stage.
