The Bay View Neighborhood Association has announced a litany of Halloween (or "Halloweek") events leading up to the neighborhood's Oct. 30 Trick or Treat, including a house decorating contest, a neighborhood bike ride and, most enticingly, a "Chills on the Hill" gathering in Humboldt Park on Oct. 23.
That event will feature a costume parade for kids a pets, music from the Cream City Brass Band, magic from Tom Burgerneister, a screening of "Hocus Pocus" and live music from a Halloween-themed instrumental band.
