What: 3rd Annual Eat & Greet on the Street
Where: Original Brown Deer Village, Deerwood Drive and Brown Deer Road (between River Lane and Ruth Place)
When: Saturday, June 4, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The 3rd Annual Eat & Greet on the Street returns to Brown Deer on June 4th and will take place for the entire day. Sharing in local music, good food and good vibes with good neighbors -- who could ask more of a summer festival? Also, an Artisan Marketplace will feature local artists and other vendors. They will offer original, handmade products for sale. Below are the Milwaukee restaurants who will feature tasty dishes.
Larry’s Market Poco Loco Pastiche Bistro & Wine Bar Schulz’s Deli Zi’s Sports Pub & Eatery Musical headliners: 3-4:30 p.m. Brown Deer High School Marching Band & Drum Line 5-7:30 p.m. Verdict (a rock cover band) 8-11 p.m. Tweed Funk (Smokey Holman, of Tweed Funk, was awarded the 2013 WAMI award for Male Vocalist of the year.)

Other things to do include children’s activities coordinated by Trinity Community Church and a fun obstacle course sponsored by Peabody’s & Wade Architects. There will be pickleball demonstrations by the Rite-Hite Family YMCA. (What is pickleball? Click here to get some pre-event knowledge.) The North Shore Fire Department fire truck will be on display for photo opportunities and K9 Vader police dog (and puppies!) will be under the MADACC tent. Other community organizations will be there, so go check it out!
