Jaill front man breaks out with new solo album

Vincent Kircher, the front man for Milwaukee’s Jaill, has stepped out with his first solo record, "Am I Ghost."
WithJaill, he has released five full albums and numerous EPs and singles, touring with acts such as The New Pornographers, The Growlers, and The Hold Steady, not to mention having songs featured on HBO’s Girls and FX’s You’re the Worst.

After the release of Jaill’s latest album, "Whatever It Be", Kircher has been busy writing, recording, mixing, and mastering his personal project in his basement studio.

The album  incorporates the familiar mellow guitar of some of Jaill’s more down-tempo songs with dreamy synth and a diverse selection of acoustic percussion, including marimba and congas.

The first single, Mr. Doom, is woven with laid back guitar and soft chiming synth to create a compelling fusion of lo-fi bedroom rock and 80’s dreamland.  And while the garage band origins are still discernible, Kircher is not afraid to experiment with sweeping electronic vibes and introspective melodies.
While Jaill’s previous albums have been released under such venerable labels as Sub Pop, Burger, and Infinity Cat Records, Kircher’s album is set to be released on April 7th through his personal label, Vinnie’s House of Doom.  On April 7th Kircher will also be starting an eight show midwest and east coast tour.  If you want to see him live a little sooner he will be at Company Brewing March 31st supporting Memories, Colleen Green, and Emotional.
