Milwaukee high school students will have a chance to work with Chance's collaborators

We have been excited here at Radio Milwaukee to have been hosting the youth music program Grace Weber's Music Lab in our Walker's Point studio.

The Music Lab is a free arts program for Milwaukee area high school students to have the chance to perform in front of, and be inspired by, music industry professionals from around the globe. Special guest performances, Q&A sessions, and an open mic for students to sing, rap, recite, dance or any way they express their creativity.

Next Friday, October 27 from 4:30PM-7:30PM, students will have the opportunity to learn from Grammy Award winning producers The Social Experiment - Nico Segal (FKA Donnie Trumpet), Nate Fox, and Peter Cottontale! This team worked with Grace Weber herself as well as Chance the Rapper, Kanye West and many other projects.

Grace Weber says of the next Music Lab, "I know first hand from working with these three on my new album that they are not only incredible producers... they are also amazing teachers with the biggest hearts, and I couldn't be more excited for Nate, Nico, and Peter to work with Milwaukee's youth. We have a special workshop planned for the Music Lab, where students will get the opportunity to make a song live on stage with Nate, Nico, and Peter. This lab is perfect for any aspiring young musician, especially those trying to learn more about production and songwriting. Size limits mean we can only take the first 100 students to sign up. Sign up today!!"

High school aged youth can sign-up on Weber's site: graceweber.com/themusiclab
