The Killers will kick off the grand opening of the new Bucks Arena

The last days of the BMO Harris Bradley Center is coming to an end. That means the new Bucks Arena, aka the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center, is about to take center stage in downtown Milwaukee.  To celebrate the opening of the new arena, the band The Killers will perform on Tuesday, September 4.  This will be the first concert in the new arena.

This will be the only Midwest show for the Killers this fall.  Joining them will be Milwaukee's own Violent Femmes. Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Friday, August 3 at 9 a.m.

UPDATE: The Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center is now called Fiserv Forum.

“Grand Opening is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and we are so excited to make this an experience to remember with a stellar performance by The Killers and Milwaukee natives Violent Femmes,” said Milwaukee Bucks President Peter Feigin. “This is just the beginning. We are committed to bringing the best of sports and entertainment to Milwaukee.”
