Bruce Springsteen books March date at Fiserv Forum

Indefatigable music legend Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be back in Milwaukee for the first time since 2016 when they play Fiserv Forum on March 7, 2023.

The Boss and co. have already sold 1.2 million tickets for the European leg of the tour, which they announced back in May. Today’s announcement sandwiches two North American runs on either side of that Eurotrip, with a second leg starting in August (the band will reveal more details at a later date).

The Milwaukee show uses Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system, which means there are a few more hoops to jump through than usual. Here’s what to do:

  1. Register to become a Verified Fan using this link before the end of the day July 17.
  2. Watch for a unique access code from Ticketmaster, which notes that, “All registered fans who are also verified will be equally eligible to participate in the Verified Fan Onsale. However, if demand for tickets from verified fans exceeds supply, verified fans may be selected at random to participate in the sale.”
  3. If you do receive an access code, the sale for verified fans starts at 10 a.m. July 27.
  4. After the Verified Fan sale, the general public will have access to any remaining tickets starting at 3 p.m. July 27.

The initial run through North America doesn’t include a Chicago date, so if you’re interested in catching the show in Milwaukee, it’s probably wise to verify your fandom with Ticketmaster. Then cross your fingers.

While you wait for Ticketmaster to determine your fate, you can pass the time by listening to this World Cafe interview with E Street Band member Stevie Van Zandt conducted by former 88Nine afternoon host Stephen Kallao.
