No stranger to the stages of Wisconsin, Dave Matthews Band will return to Summerfest this year, filling the American Family Amphitheater slot for June 29.
Matthews and co. have made visits to the Badger State a regular occurrence over the years, most often playing Alpine Valley while mixing in a handful of Summerfest appearances. They last visited Henry Maier Festival Park in 2021, ripping off a three-hour set that made it clear the group hadn’t lost any of their passion for performing live.
The Summerfest gig falls almost smack dab in the middle of the band’s just-announced North American tour, which kicks off May 9 in Mexico. That’s 10 days before the release of their 10th studio album, Walk Around the Moon, which drops May 19. The first single from the album, “Madman’s Eyes,” is out now (take a listen down below).
