For upcoming album i/o, Peter Gabriel chose a patient — and slightly quirky — rollout strategy: one new song released on the full moon of each month. He apparently likes portioning out his tour announcements as well, because today he announced the addition of 13 more cities to his already-revealed upcoming world tour, including an Oct. 2 show at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

This will be the first chance for fans to hear the new LP — Gabriel’s first in more than 20 years — in a live setting, although it still doesn’t have a release date (this guy seriously loves surprises). So there’s an outside chance this will be the first chance for fans to hear the new LP anywhere.

Beyond that, Gabriel will most certainly delve into his back catalog that will total 10 studio albums when the new one comes out. The release for the Fiserv Forum show also promised “the unexpected.” We’re talking about a guy who hopped on a bike on stage while performing “Solsbury Hill” (see below), so this doesn’t seem like an empty promise.

The presales for the Milwaukee show start with a Peter Gabriel Fan presale at noon today, March 21. There's also a Citi presale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, a Live Nation presale at 10 a.m. Thursday (code: INYOUREYES) and a general sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, March 24. Information on all of them are available via Ticketmaster.

We'll also have a few opportunities for you to win tickets by listening to 88Nine starting tomorrow, as well as entering for a chance to win via our contests page starting this Friday.
