Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats coming to BMO Pavilion

FPC Live

An outdoor concert is an excellent way to wind down your summer, and BMO Pavilion just booked one that has the exact right vibes for the “nights getting longer, maybe bring a light jacket” time of year: Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, who will play the lakeside venue Friday, Sept. 22.

The group already has a busy summer planned that’ll take them around the States and Europe, including a handful of dates with Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival. But they didn’t have anything in the Midwest until today’s announcement.

Rateliff was famously on the verge of giving up on music when he joined Joseph Pope III and a bunch of other collaborators to create the group’s self-titled album, which hit big in the summer of 2015 led by single “S.O.B.” As Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, they’ve released two additional LPs — most recently 2021’s The Future — while Rateliff has three solo albums under his belt.

The band will bring all that material to Milwaukee this September, with tickets going on sale first via a presale at 10 a.m. this Thursday (code: NRNS23) and then a general sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster and at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater Box Office.
