Milwaukee loves the Jonas Brothers, and the Jonas Brothers seem to love Milwaukee right back.
The musically inclined siblings sold out Fiserv Forum in 2019, and they’ll see if they can duplicate the feat when they return to the Deer District venue Nov. 20 as part of their upcoming North American tour.
Milwaukee wasn’t actually on the first slate of shows the bros announced back in May, so maybe “love” is overstating things a bit. But they clearly have a strong affinity for our city, including it in the 26 dates they just added to the “Five Albums, One Night” tour. The title of their soon-to-launch journey around the continent continues the Jonas Brothers’ recent penchant for straightforward naming, having released their new album, The Album, this past May.
According to my exhaustive Wikipedia research, that fresh LP brings the trio’s total of studio albums to six, so apparently there’s a “black sheep” situation with one of their previous projects that they plan to completely ignore on this tour. Or maybe it’s a roulette situation where they spin a big wheel at the start of the show, and whatever it lands on doesn’t get in the set list that night.
Either way, the night will feature some big sibling energy, as the Jonas Brothers have lined up Lawrence — the brother-sister pop-soul duo of Clyde and Gracie Lawrence — as openers for the tour. If that sounds like your thing, you’ll probably need to do the usual Ticketmaster preparations to get a seat for the show considering how quickly they went the last time around.
So, start by going to the Ticketmaster Verified Fan page and registering for the lottery before 9 p.m. next Monday, July 31. Then watch your inbox to see if you’re one of the lucky folks to get an access code you can use when the presale starts at 10 a.m. next Thursday, Aug. 3. If you miss out on all of that, the general sale gets underway at the same time the following day, although the expectation is that only limited tickets will be available at that time.
