Nicki Minaj will bring world tour to Fiserv Forum next spring

Nicki Minaj / Facebook

Last Friday, Nicki Minaj delivered her long-awaited new album, Pink Friday 2. The inevitable tour announcement followed just a few days later, with a string of dates that includes an April 13 stop at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

How long has it been since Minaj last visited the city? So long that Britney Spears was still touring. Way back in 2011, the “Queen of Rap” opened for the pop princess at Summerfest with exactly one studio album under her belt: Pink Friday.

The sequel to her debut was a long time coming, having first been mentioned by Minaj in June of 2019. The years that followed included a brief retirement from hip-hop (September 2019), a teaser for the album (June 2020), an initial release date of Oct. 20, a subsequent release date of Nov. 17 and, finally, an actual release date of Dec. 8. The wait seems to have been worth it, though, as Pink Friday 2 broke streaming records and is on track to top the Billboard 200 list in its first week.

Minaj will bring that batch of music to Fiserv Forum next spring, with tickets available starting this Tuesday via the first of many presales. You can get information on all of those at Ticketmaster, which will also host the general sale that starts at 9 a.m. Friday. Tickets will also be available to the general public at that time by visiting the Fiserv Forum box office located at 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave.
