Lucy Dacus adds Riverside Theater date to upcoming tour

It was already shaping up to be a big 2025 for Lucy Dacus, who released new album Forever Is a Feeling in the dying days of March and prior to that planned a modest string of shows in support of the record. Those plans got a lot less modest Tuesday as Dacus announced a bunch of additional dates, including July 27 at the Riverside Theater.

The performance presented by 88Nine comes just a few days into the tour’s summer leg, which kicks off July 25 in Philadelphia before heading to Ohio the following night and then Milwaukee. Jay Som will be the opener for all of those shows, with tickets going on sale to the general public at noon next Friday, April 18. You can get those online via AXS and in person at the Pabst/Riverside Theater box offices.

Artist bio

Three-time Grammy Award-winner Lucy Dacus is a musician, performer and storyteller who’s widely regarded as “one of the best songwriters of her generation” (Rolling Stone). After releasing three full-length albums under her name — 2016’s No Burden, 2018’s Historian and 2021’s Home Video — she returned this year with Forever Is a Feeling.

The new project comes after a career-defining year with boygenius, whose album the record topped the U.K., Irish and Dutch album charts, as well as Billboard’s Vinyl Album chart. It was also No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and was named a top 10 album of 2023 by Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Billboard, Variety and many other outlets.
