Twenty One Pilots’ upcoming tour includes September stop in Milwaukee

With their eighth studio album ready to drop Sept. 5, Grammy-winning rock outfit Twenty One Pilots announced a month-plus run of performances that will bring them to Milwaukee’s American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Sept. 23.

The show comes just a few days after the tour launches Sept. 18 in Cincinnati and — along with the rest of the dates — figures to heavily feature the new record, which comes close on the heels of 2024 album Clancy. When Breach comes out Sept. 5, it will bring to an end the “albums-long saga the band has been crafting since 2015’s Blurryface,” as stated in a press release announcing the tour.

Blurryface celebrated its 10th anniversary just a few weeks ago and holds the distinction of being the first album to earn a Gold or Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for every song on the record. In the decade since, Blurryface has racked up more than 15 billion streams as the band continued the story of its title character on 2018’s Trench, 2021’s Scaled and Icy, and the aforementioned Clancy.

While fans wait to see how things wrap up on Breach, they can start figuring out how to get tickets for the Sept. 23 show in Milwaukee. There’s an artist presale (registration here) that starts at 10 a.m. next Tuesday, June 17, followed by a general sale the same time Friday, June 20. For more information, visit the show page on Ticketmaster’s website.
