Several Milwaukee bars and music venues have announced temporary closures as the city endures another rapid surge in Covid-19 cases.
The Cactus Club announced that it will close Dec. 24-31 "as we assess artist, community and staff needs in the face of the abrupt and pervasive spread of Covid-19." On Instagram, the venue wrote, "It’s not an easy or desirable decision to make a second time. We will be back to serve, host and celebrate with you soon. We’ll continue to assess conditions and decide what feels best to our team." A hip-hop bill presented by Breaking and Entering tonight at the venue is still set to go on as scheduled.
Boone and Crockett and The Cooperage have also both announced closings starting tomorrow.
