Milwaukee's Juiceboxxx has been laying low since his ode to his hometown in the song "Walking in Milwaukee." Yesterday, he announced that he has signed to Dangerbird Records. The label help launched bands like Silversun Pickups and Fitz & The Tantrums and is home to Milwaukee's Maritime.
Juiceboxxx also announced a new album titled "Freaked Out American Loser," which will drop later this Summer.
The Juiceboxxx live show, with a drummer and guitar player as his band, is as aggressive as it is entertaining, and was the spark that inspired the partnership with his new label. “5 minutes into his performance, which I stumbled into accidentally, I would have done anything he asked me to. It was utterly captivating, like Crispin Glover fronting Bad Brains,” said Dangerbird President Jenni Sperandeo. “We are all thrilled to be a part of taking Juiceboxxx to the next, next level.”
