I'm a week removed from my adventures in Austin for SXSW 2023, and an artist that I can't get out of my head is the young sibling trio (including fraternal twins) BAILEN.
They kicked off day two of the Radio Day Stage at the Austin Convention Center with amazing harmonies and flawless timing. Julia Bailen's voice absolutely cut through Ballroom A and set the vibes of what turned out to be an amazing lineup brought to us by 88.5 The SoCal Sound.
For our Add of the Week, we shot the New York natives' new single "Call It Like Is" immediately into rotation. The track will have you dancing, singing and thinking twice about setting shop at a fan's house while on tour (watch the video for evidence).
The band's sophomore album (if you don't include their Mixtape Vol. 1) Tired Hearts is due out May 5, but you can catch them this week at the Back Room on March 31 with support from Rett Madison.
