Miles Nielsen and the Rusted hearts hail from Rockford, IL and cite both power-pop and classic soul as influences. (And yes, there is a relation between the singer and another Nielsen hailing from Rockford.) They fit well alongside Dr. Dog or even Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
