Earlier this week, The Pixies became the first band to drop out of Summerfest's lineup due to Covid-19 concerns. Now the festival has announced that another long-running indie-rock institution will replace them: The Flaming Lips will headline the Generac Power Stage on Saturday, Sept. 18, the festival's closing night.
