Most days it's possible to get into Summerfest for free if you're willing to put a little work in and get to the grounds early enough, but Summerfest is making it easier than usual on Saturday.
The festival has extended the hours of its free admission for its Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 18 from noon to 7 p.m. The lineup that day includes Black Pumas, Lunay, Flaming Lips, Jeff The Brotherhood, Thurston Moore, Neon Indians and more.
To sweeten the deal, the first 30,000 attendees will receive a free ticket for next year's Summerfest.
Speaking of next year's Summerfest, we know the dates now. And yes, it'll keep the three-weekend structure it introduced this year. Summerfest will run June 23-25, June 30-July 2 and July 7-9 in 2022. Expect more details on the lineup in the months to come.
