Live concerts may be on pause right now, but that hasn't stopped artists from streaming performances online, and many of these streams have involved an element of philanthropy. That's the case with this weekend's Forward Music Fest, which will raise money for three local venues that are hurting right now because of the pandemic: Cactus Club, The Cooperage and X-Ray Arcade. The three day fest will take place Friday through Sunday on Instagram Live and Twitch.
Today we're joined by the founders of that festival, Jason Ludtke and Andy Kosanke. They discuss how designers Whitney Anderson, Sydney Michuda, David Zimmerman and Lauren Cook created flyers that help make the event look like a true festival, and they explain how they curated the lineup, which you can find at the bottom of this post.
